KTM Rc 200 Black Edition 2018 Walkaround Exhaust Note Top Speed UPDATES
KTM Rc 200 Black Edition 2018 Walkaround Exhaust Note Top Speed UPDATES
KTM has launched its smaller supersport offering, the RC 200, in a new black colour scheme. The new colour is available at the same price of Rs 1.77 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) as the existing white-coloured model. This means that the RC 390 is now the only bike from KTM that misses out on a second colour option in India.
The new black colour scheme on the RC 200 is extremely similar to the RC 390’s option. They both have glossy black bodywork, orange wheels and trellis frames, and similarly-styled decals. The only noticeable difference is the colour inversion of the decals and the inner fairing. While the more-expensive RC 390 sports an orange inner fairing, the RC 200's is white. When it comes to the decals, the RC 200 gets the brighter orange treatment in place of the white seen on the RC 390.
The motorcycle is mechanically unchanged. Powering the black RC 200 is a 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor which makes 25.8hp and 19.2Nm of torque. Handling suspension duties is a 43mm upside-down fork and a preload-adjustable monoshock. In terms of braking, while the bike does get a large 300mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc, it still misses out on ABS.
The KTM RC 200 has received a new black paint option for the 2018 model year. The new colour scheme is available in addition to the already existing white colour variant that was introduced last year with both versions priced at ₹ 1.77 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). While the RC 200 was originally available in a matte black shade since 2014, the colour was discontinued in favour of the refreshing new white shade introduced on the slightly updated offering. The new black, white and orange colour scheme, however, gets a gloss finish instead and is similar to the one introduced on the 2017 KTM RC 390.
Speaking on the introduction of the new colour, Bajaj Auto - President (Probiking), Amit Nandi said "The KTM RCs are race-bred machines. The RC 200 constitutes a significant part of the KTM portfolio and it is only fair that we broaden the choice for our customers with the addition of a new Black colour option
Apart from the new colour variant, the KTM RC 200 gets no mechanical changes. Power continues to come from the 199.5 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine tuned for 25 bhp at 10,000 and 19.2 Nm of peak torque at 8000 rpm. The motor is paired with a 6-speed transmission. The RC 200 is a dedicated track-bred motorcycle and comes with a host of premium components including USD forks up front and a monoshock setup at the rear, while braking performance comes from disc brakes at either end. ABS is still given a miss on the India-spec model.
Other salient features on the KTM RC 200 include a digital console with real-time fuel efficiency clip-on handlebars, while the 2017 update brought wider mirrors and improved cushioning on the motorcycle. KTM retails out of 430 showrooms across India in 320 cities and the RC 200 in black is available for bookings.
While the new colour scheme for the RC 200 should keep the model fresh in the segment, KTM is working something more exclusive and hugely anticipated as well

Bentley Bentayga V8 2018 WALKAROUND INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR REVIEW CHICAGO...
FRIENDS TODAY I WILL BE REVIEWING Bentley THE Bentayga V8 2018
A STUNNING EXTERIOR
Bentayga V8 shares the same sleek lines as the other models in the Bentayga range, but adds some distinctive features to create an edgier exterior that matches the car’s dynamic feel. A black and chrome radiator matrix grille adds extra presence at the front, while the rear is enhanced by two twin-quad tailpipes, with a selection of large, striking wheels completing an imposing look. For those seeking to maximise the dramatic effect still further, the Black Specification** replaces all the exterior brightware with black-painted trim and adds a number of contemporary carbon fibre elements.
A LUXURIOUS CABIN
The handcrafted cabin of the new Bentayga V8 is the ideal setting for the exhilarating journey ahead. The straight fluted seats are as comfortable as they are elegant, with the supple leather hides available in a choice of five different colour splits as standard. The upper cabin is trimmed in Eliade, a soft and tactile fabric available in five colours. And the contemporary sophistication of Dark Fiddleback Eucalyptus veneer, Bentley treadplates and foot pedals in the classic ‘B’ design as standard provide the perfect finishing touches.
AN ADVANCED V8 ENGINE
The innovative new Bentley V8 engine has been calibrated to suit this exceptionally capable SUV. Powerful and efficient, with seamless power delivery, it provides an effortlessly engaging drive – both on and off the road. It delivers an impressive 542 bhp (550 PS) of power that can take it to a top speed of 180 mph (290 km/h), accompanied by a potent V8 engine sound that reflects the car’s phenomenal capabilities.
AGILE HANDLING
The V8 engine achieves its maximum torque of 770 Nm (568 lb ft) at 1,960 rpm and maintains this right through to 4,500 rpm, ensuring rapid acceleration at any engine speed. This allows you to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds (0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds), contributing to the car’s agile, sporty driving experience. Bentayga V8 is brilliantly responsive in the urban environment and truly thrilling on the open road.
ENHANCED EFFICIENCY
Responsiveness and efficiency are both assisted by two twin-scroll turbochargers located inside the ‘V’ of the engine. Further efficiency gains are provided by variable displacement, where four of the eight cylinders are seamlessly shut down when not required, and start-stop technology activated at ‘near-to-stop’ speeds. The result is a fuel-efficient SUV with CO2 emissions of just 260 g/km and a generous range of 746 km.
Driver assistance technology included as standard, such as Exit Warning and a rear view camera, makes the roads easier to navigate, while Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Apple CarPlay connectivity allows passengers to stay connected to the outside world.

DUCATI SCRAMBLER 1100 2018 WALKAROUND REVIEW EXHAUST SOUND TOP SPEED
welcome friends today i will be reviewing DUCATI SCRAMBLER 1100 2018
The Scrambler Classic version is aimed at those who appreciate attention to detail and 1970s style, but who don’t want to compromise on riding pleasure and the functionality of a modern bike. It is characterised by unique, refined details, such as the aluminium front and rear mudguards, the spoke wheels and the brown seat with diamond-shaped inserts. In Orange Sunshine, Sugar White.
As on any Ducati, palm grips are top drawer, offering excellent grip. The front brake lever is reach adjustable, although the clutch misses this. The speedometer is all-digital, a petite unit that sits smartly off-center. All relevant information is available, except for a fuel-gauge. The tank is small, and exquisitely finished. The seat is flat, a bit narrow, and a chink in the Scrambler armour, for even short rides leave you sore.
Superb fit-finish and solid build quality are available with the Scrambler.
The Scrambler’s 803cc, L-twin, air-cooled engine makes 75bhp of power, and 6.9kgm of maximum torque. Power delivery is linear and comes in strong once you open the gas. In the lower gears, there’s enough acceleration to have you slide deeper into the seat, with even marginal throttle inputs. Throttle response is good, the Scrambler feeling a less exuberant below 2,500rpm, but enthusiastic and once past that, with great acoustics coming up from its exhaust.
The Scrambler may look a simple, small motorcycle, but make no mistake, there’s ample performance to keep you happy. Cruising at speeds of 130-140kph is effortless, but although the motorcycle is good for much higher speeds, the lack of a fairing and upright riding position prevents comfortable riding at sustained speeds of over 160kph.
The Scrambler’s 6-speed gearbox works to deliver smooth shifts. The cable driven clutch is likewise nice in feel.
The seating position on the Ducati Scrambler is upright, with high handlebars. The caveat is tall riders aren’t going to find the Scrambler comfy, for the footpegs are a tad too high for long legs and you feel cramped. Riding this Ducati is just as easy, as unintimidating, as hopping on to ride off and catch up with the horizon. You don’t have to have ridden a big bike before to feel comfortable on the Scrambler. It’s light, with a nice and low centre of gravity. The Scrambler also gives you enough confidence to push and ride hard when attacking corners. The front is supported by a set of upside down telescopic forks, with a monoshock at the rear. Ride quality is not exactly plush, but not overly firm either.
Tyres are by Pirelli, providing excellent grip. These, along with the well tuned suspension, stiff tubular steel chassis and an alloy swingarm make the Scrambler a classic looking bike that offers modern handling. Braking is via a single 330mm front disc, and 245mm single disc at rear, ABS in place. There’s always enough stopping power at hand.
After a few days of riding the Scrambler on-road, and off, we were left mighty impressed with the Ducatis solid capabilities. Yes, a few shortcomings exist, such as the lack of wind protection at high speed and uncomfortable saddle. However, the affordable Ducati scores so highly on so many other key fronts, you will find yourself happy to overlook all the niggles.
The Scrambler is the perfect bike for riders looking to own a true blue Ducati, and a good stepping stone to take you into the big bike world.
